WEEK 6, DAY 37: Supernatural Protection

Scripture Reference: Psalm 91
(Psalm 91, NCV)
“Those who go to God Most High for safety
will be protected by the Almighty.
I will say to the Lord, “You are my place of safety and protection.
You are my God and I trust you.”
God will save you from hidden traps and from deadly diseases.
He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you can hide.
His truth will be your shield and protection.
You will not fear any danger by night or an arrow during the day.
You will not be afraid of diseases that come in the dark or sickness that strikes at noon.
At your side one thousand people may die, or even ten thousand right beside you, but you will not be hurt. You will only watch and see the wicked punished.
The Lord is your protection; you have made God Most High your place of safety.
Nothing bad will happen to you; no disaster will come to your home.
He has put his angels in charge of you to watch over you wherever you go.
They will catch you in their hands so that you will not hit your foot on a rock.
You will walk on lions and cobras; you will step on strong lions and snakes.
The Lord says, “Whoever loves me, I will save. I will protect those who know me.
They will call to me, and I will answer them. I will be with them in trouble; I will rescue them and honor them.
I will give them a long, full life, and they will see how I can save.”
Prayer
Almighty God, Lord Most High, You say that Your Word will not return void and that it will accomplish what it is spoken to do. Father, we come before You as Your children called by Your Name to speak Your Word and ask You to do what You say You will do. You, O Lord, are our place of Safety and Protection. We ask this prayer for believers all over the world, especially the persecuted church in places like Libya. You, O Lord, are our God and we trust You! We speak Your Word in faith, knowing that You will do what You say You will do. Protect us from hidden traps and deadly diseases. Take away our fear of danger, disease, and death. Fill us with the blessed assurance that Your will is going to be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Lord, as Your Word says protect Your people from disaster, put Your angels in charge of us to watch over us wherever we go. Father, we do not pray this out of fear or selfishness we lift this up humbly because this is what You say You will do for us. We do also lift up this prayer because we know as You answer the world will see that You are God and You are Good. That You are a God, who blesses His people, not the false god the evil one has made you out to be. We pray that by answering this the world will see that You are real, You are faithful, and You are the only way to joy and fulfillment.
Lord, we thank You for salvation that is found only in Christ and may He draw all people to Him as He is lifted up. We ask You Lord to do whatever it takes to make Him known in this world. Dreams, visions, whatever it takes, Father God. Thank You, for the divine protection You have provided us, without our awareness. Lord, You say that You will hear us when we are in trouble. We are in trouble. Hear, our cries, Lord. You also say that You will rescue us. We need rescuing. Lord, as Jehoshaphat said, “we are powerless against this great horde, we don’t know what to do but our eyes are on you, Lord.” We look to You expectantly. We thank You in advance for the great work that You are about to do as You bring Your Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. In the Name of our Mighty King, the Beautiful Name, the Wonderful Name, the Powerful Name, the Matchless Name, the Name above all else. The King of Kings Jesus the Christ we pray. Amen.
